![]() ![]() People have been known to go to war over such things. It can also get quite competitive and sometimes cause quite a bit of rage when someone "steals" a spot that has been "promised" to one or two players. It's up to you which method you prefer to get all of the FPs needed for every level up to 80, even when people start locking up those "sweet spot" rewards. Once it becomes profitable for 1st/2nd, you still have to fill 1/4 of the level by the usual means. But there is no secret recipe other than the same work involved in doing the same for any GB. The benefit of the Arc itself is that its popularity tends to cause people to overpay for rewards, which benefits the owner, and they tend to be sought out, so they aren't usually difficult to work on leveling. You either level it yourself or you solicit donations via swap threads, direct swap agreements, or random chance. The way you get it up to where it starts to pay profitable rewards for 1st/2nd locked up from dead zero each level (~ level 30-74) is to do it the old-fashioned way. ![]() The special buildings are often worth 10 FPs a day if you get them to the highest level possible during the special event. The Arc is just like any other GB. You might also want, if you've started a young city, to play every event quest offered - the seasonal ones that last for three weeks or a month. Leveling an Arc or any GB requires a lot of FPs by the owner even if you're in a 1.9 club - a lot of FPs up to about level 20, then you get into the "sweet spot" from level 20 to 70 where the owner contribution is lower and you can keep starting the next level for your 1.9 collaborators to kick into. You also need to be progressing through techs. Getting an Arc to 80 requires a ton of FPs, and I'd think you'd want to get your FP production up first. I have a city that at one point had supplies production problems because, I realized, it didn't have enough GB bonuses for supplies production.) (FPs, Attack and Defense seem to be the most important GB bonuses. The latter also gives you an attack bonus, something people generally want to have. I'd think you might want to build a couple of other GB s that produce FPs first - Cape Canaveral, Arctic Orangery, CDM. ![]()
